Yachting & sailing in GreeceThe blue waters of Greece are excellent for yachting and sailing because you'll find there beautiful islands and pure nature. For example, yachting or a trip on a charter sail boat around Corfu will offer you memories for a lifetime... This island is a mass of green woodlands, wild pine-covered mountains, lakes and cultivated fields. It has also miles of wonderful sandy beaches. The island's capital is also called Corfu and it's attractively situated on a promontory on the east coast.
Visit Sidari in north for a swim in Canal d'Amour - the legend say that the lovers will stay together for life. The main harbor of the island is located in town. Enter the Old Harbor from the eastern end of the breakwater. The entrance into the interior harbor is very narrow, so the entry is difficult. Once inside, this area is an excellent shelter. Adjacent to the harbor you'll find shops, boat engine repair services, taverns, restaurants and many others. The main town from Corfu offers the best facilities in the northern Ionian Sea.
The channel from north of Corfu is a stretch of water between Corfu and Albania. Around the shore you'll find there numerous taverns. Agni Bay is located immediately south of Kalami, in the northeast part of the island. If you overnight here it's better to anchor at the northern or southern end of the bay to avoid the large waves created by ferries and cruise ships that enter and leave the harbor during night.
Paleokastritsa is located on the eastern side of the island and it's an attractive vacation resort dominated by Monastery of Panayia Theotokos. To north of harbor is village Petriti. In village Argyrades, just three km away, are several shops; you'll find also good beaches for swimming nearby.

Everywhere in Greece you'll find affordable charter sail boats, yachts, catamaran, and even cruise ships, with or without crew. If you love the sea, what could be more exciting as a cruise in the blue & crystal-clear waters of Greece?
