All-inclusive hotels & accommodations in GreeceFinding accommodations in Greece is not difficult because there are a large number of all-inclusive hotels, luxury resorts, villas, apartments, rooms, hostels and camping to choose from. People traveling in Greece have many options for a perfect vacation, but the prices can vary very much, so booking a hotel room and even buying in advance an all-inclusive vacation package is a good idea.
Greece is one of the best vacation destinations in Europe and even in the world. Beside mainland, Greece has a large number of islands filled with excellent all-inclusive hotels, apartments and villas. Most islands offer all types of accommodations, from all-inclusive hotels and luxury villas to moderate apartments.
Apartments & villasTourist police of Greece controls the rent charges, which is dependant on the class of the hotel. Ideally, all hotels must post a sign in each room, behind the door, showing the maximum cost of the room. Still, prices are subject to changes and it's recommended for travelers to call for an updated price quote just before the arrival date. Prices are dependant on seasonal fluctuations and on hotel's location. July and August are the peak tourism months, so the room rates are high. In April, May, September and October, the tariffs tend to fall and you can find affordable rates even at all-inclusive hotels and luxury villas.
For vacationers planning a longer trip it's a good idea to rent one of the many available apartments, vacation homes, or villas. Affordable apartments are sometimes available within hotels or they can be found, along with homes and villas, in local newspapers.
Hotel classesThe luxury, A, and B class hotels have many amenities, such as private bathrooms and more restaurants, and provide continuous hot water; many of them have one or more swimming pools.
The C class hotels have also private bathrooms, but the accommodations are less luxurious; the hot water may be available not all day long. The food is available in the hotel's restaurant and you can choose from local or international dishes.
The D and E class hotels have almost the same price range. In both these classes is no guarantee that hot water will be available. Food is also not available on hotel premises. The bathroom is shared in all E class hotels and also in some of D class ones.
