Greek SunMilos Holidays Greece

Milos is one of the Greek islands in Aegean Sea and is the southwestern most island in the Cyclades Group, located at 120 kilometers (75 miles) east to the coasts of Laconia. From east to west the island measures 23 kilometers (14 miles) and from north to south only 13 kilometers. Its most area is rugged and hilly, culminating with the 748 meters (2454 feet) high Mount Profitis Elias, in the west. Like the rest of the islands from the region it has volcanic origin. A natural harbor cuts the island into two fairly equal parts, with an isthmus not more than 18 kilometers (11 miles) broad. On the both sides are settled a few good beach resorts where accommodation is offered by several hotels and villas for rent.
Among the tourist attractions on Milos are numerous caves and a few hot springs, on the eastern shore of the harbor.
